Hey Huskers,
As we prepare for the Thanksgiving Holiday, I want to take time to share how thankful I am for you. I have enjoyed meeting many of you at programs, events, and activities. I love hearing your stories about where you are from, your experiences on campus, and your plans for the next step on your journey.
When we return from Thanksgiving break, there are three weeks until the end of the semester. This can be a busy and stressful time. I encourage you to take advantage of the resources that will help you finish strong. Here are a few:
- Student Life Get Help website
- Center for Academic Support and Transition – Navigating Campus Resources website
- Community Resources
- Email me directly
I would love to connect with you. You can find me at every Popcorn Pop-Up on Thursdays at 3:00 pm in The Crib in the Nebraska Union. Come say hi! You can also follow me on Instagram at @deantjmcdowell.
In the spirit of being thankful for what you have and helping those in need, I encourage you, your friends, and your family to consider a blood donation. Every donation saves three lives and could help us win $1,000,000 for our campus in Abbott’s We Give Blood competition.
Sign up here to donate before December 5th.
Have a great break.
Sincerely,
T.J. McDowell, Jr.
