Where We’re Headed
Our strategic plan outlines a five-year vision for the Division of Student Life, guiding our work into the future. It provides direction for our departments and units, helping us prioritize the programs, services, environments and experiences that support student success at NEBRASKA.
At the heart of this plan is our commitment to students. Student Life plays a vital role in helping Huskers build community, strengthen their well-being, find support, develop leadership skills and create a meaningful college experience. This framework helps align our daily work with that broader purpose, ensuring that our efforts are intentional, collaborative and responsive to the evolving needs of students.
We also recognize that a strategic plan must be flexible. Student needs, campus priorities and higher education continue to change, and our work must be able to adapt. Student Life leadership reviews this framework annually to assess progress, identify opportunities for improvement and establish tactical goals for the division and its units.
As we move forward, this plan serves as both a guide and a foundation. It helps us measure where we have been, clarify where we are going and continue building a campus experience where every Husker has the opportunity to flourish.
