Monday, March 4, 2024 Curious Cornhuskers: What’s up with the fences blocking East Campus?

[Daily Nebraskan] Any students trying to traverse the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus will encounter one glaring problem: big red fences. The mall, soon to be known as Legacy Plaza Meadows, is the final step in a 10-year revitalization project sweeping East Campus.

The plaza project will include additional outdoor seating at the East Union, a new outdoor patio at the Dairy Store, grading changes to increase accessibility for people with disabilities, and new lighting. [ Craig Chandler | University Communication and Marketing]
