Stuff A Plush

Yoga at Sheldon Museum of Art
5:30 to 6:30 p.m. February 8 | Sheldon Museum of Art
Lotus House of Yoga will offer an hour-long vinyasa-style class that is appropriate for all levels, whether you are a beginner or an experienced yogi. The class is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

Condoms, Cookies & Consent
6 to 8 p.m. January 30 | Nebraska Union, Centennial Room
A free, inclusive and educational opportunity to explore consent, relationships, and sexual health. Stop by multiple booths for free giveaways, cookies, fries, games, activities and information. Enter to win a number of prizes. Bring a friend, date, your roomie, your gals, your pals for a fun night you’ll be sure to remember.

Mardi Gras Lunch & Dinner

Study Abroad Speed Dating

Cupid's Mixer

Ditch the dating apps and be bold in 2024. Take a chance to organically discover new friends or possibly a date for Valentine’s Day.
Think speed dating - with a twist. In a fun and lively atmosphere, attendees will enjoy conversating with new individuals and possibly connect with a potential valentine or at least, make a friend or two.

It's Mint To Be
12:30 to 1:30 p.m. February 14 | Nebraska Union, First Floor Booth
At this booth on the first floor of the Nebraska Union, engage with the GSC staff and participate in a fun activity focused on cultivating positive safer-sex conversations with your partner. Participants will receive:
- a DIY planting kit* with a small pot and seeds to grow your own fresh mint.
- a Safer Sex Kit with condoms and lube. Mint-flavored condoms and dental dams are available, too.
- How-to materials for building safe and healthy relationships, as well as safer-sex resources.
*Limited number of kits are available while supplies last.
Valentine's Day Dinner
4:30 to 7 p.m. February 14 | East Campus Dining Center
Enjoy a Valentine's Dinner with delicious menu selections and delectable treats.
Dinner is included with the meal plan or pay guest prices.
Can't make the Valentine's Dinner? Dining Services is hosting a Steak Dinner Night February 15 at all dining centers.
Huskers & Hearts Dinner
Starting at 6 p.m. February 14 | Cather Dining Center, Red Cloud A Room
Any student living in the residence halls can sign up for a chance to experience a fine dining experience on Valentine's Day.
This Valentine's Day event is limited to 30 tables. Residents will be randomly selected on February 7.

Cardio Sculpt & Sweets
7 to 7:50 p.m. February 14 | Campus Rec Center, Fitness Studio
Take your workout into overdrive with this session focused on building strength and cardiovascular endurance. After a rewarding workout, you will be provided a sweet treat by the Nutrition Education Program. Attend this Cardio Sculpt & Sweets class to obtain a productive workout and a healthy snack.

Film Screening of Amélie

Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s award-winning whimsical romance returns to theatres on Valentine's Day for one night only. A waitress in a Montmartre, Paris bar, Amélie (Audrey Tatou) observes people and lets her imagination roam free. One day, she suddenly finds her purpose in life: to solve other people’s problems. But Amélie’s mission to help others is rudely interrupted when she meets a strange, off-beat young man, Nino Quincampoix (Mathieu Kassovitz), who captures her interest, and sets her on a misson to accomplish something for herself…in the most charming and complicated way possible.
Can't make it to this film? Student Night at the Ross is held the third Thursday of each month, offering $1 tickets, popcorn, and drinks for all screenings.
“PAL”-entine Music Bingo
6 to 7 p.m. February 15 | Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Unity Room (212)
Join CARE for a night of Music Bingo. Bring a “pal” or a date as we explore healthy and toxic relationships, and everything in between, through hit songs of the 90s, 2000s, and today.
Bingo winners will be able to choose from several prizes and everyone can enjoy free snacks while they play along in this fun and explorative evening.

Partner Yoga & Meal Kit for Two
5:30 to 6:45 p.m. February 16 | Campus Rec Center, Fitness Studio
Celebrate an appreciation for yourself and your buddy by attending this Partner Yoga class. All poses will be fun to try with a partner, so be sure to bring someone along to share the fun. A two-serving meal kit to take home will be provided by the Nutrition Education Program.
