UNL Outdoor Adventure Center hosts spring break trips

Some University of Nebraska-Lincoln students spent their spring break paddling, backpacking or snowshoeing as part of the trips hosted by the UNL Outdoor Adventure Center.

The Outdoor Adventure Center hosted five trips over break, including a national park hiking tour in Utah, Red River Gorge rock climbing in Kentucky, Rio Grande canoeing in Texas and more. 

Kodi Timanus, a senior environmental science major and Outdoor Adventure student leader, was a co-lead on the canoeing trip, during which she said students paddled 83 miles on the Rio Grande through canyons.
