Thursdays are about to become a little bit better.

Billed as the “best hour of the week” a new social hour named the Popcorn Pop-Up makes its debut from 3 to 4 p.m. Feb 6 in the Nebraska Union’s The Crib.

It’s free and every student, staff, and faculty is welcome.

During the single hour each week, attendees can snack on fresh-popped popcorn and join in an game or activity planned for that singular day.  The activity will be different each week, to be chosen by the organization or department being showcased that day.

Most importantly, the Popcorn Pop-Ups are envisioned as a chance for hundreds of Huskers to simply meet up and mingle with friends and colleagues in the spirit of being a Husker.

The first 100 people each week receive a special Popcorn Pop-up Cup. Bring the cup with you to subsequent Popcorn Pop-ups to receive a free drink, too.
