Chancellor Rodney Bennett approved September 20, 2024 as an instructional continuity day when Husker Football hosts Illinois for a Friday night game in Memorial Stadium.

Campus locations and services will adjust hours on this one day. Refer to this partial list compiled by Student Life to help you connect with services and open spots.

ASUN Student Government

Physical location is closed.

Campus Rec Center

Open 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Injury Prevention & Care is closed.
No fitness classes and scheduled activities.

All scheduled rec classes, appointments, and practices are canceled on City Campus for both indoor and outdoor facilities. Sport club practices at off-campus locations can continue at each club’s discretion.

Rec & Wellness Center

Open 5:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Injury Prevention & Care is open.
Fitness classes and scheduled activities will meet.

Outdoor Adventures Center

Center for Advocacy, Response and Education (CARE)

Physical location is closed.

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS)

Physical location is closed.
All pre-scheduled appointments for September 20 will be via Zoom as arranged by your counselor.
For any students in crisis and needing to talk immediately with a counselor, call 402-472-7450 and press "4".
Any other scheduling needs or questions call 402-472-7450 and press "2" to speak with an associate.

Dining Services

Dining centers, Husker Heroes, and Herbie's Markets are open regular hours.
Selleck Food Court closes at 2 p.m.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Residence Halls

Front Desks are open regular hours. For assistance visit or phone to your complex's desk. On-call staff are on duty 24/7.
Housing Main Office are available remotely from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Phone 402-472-3561 and email housing@unl.edu.
For maintenance repairs, submit an online FixIt Ticket. Facility staff will be on campus to assist from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. For emergencies occurring from 1 to 5 p.m., submit the FixIt Ticket and staff will coordinate with you. For emergencies occurring after 5 p.m., contact your Front Desk and the staff will notify the Facility staff, if necessary.
