Monday, May 6, 2024 Student organizations, individuals honored at year-end Student Impact Awards

The Student Impact Awards were announced for 2023-24 by Student Leadership, Involvement and Community Engagement at an evening reception in the Nebraska Union on May 1, 2024.

After receiving a record 178 nominations, the awards ceremony illuminated the extraordinary dedication and impact of 102 individuals and 50 organizations.

In her opening remarks, vice chancellor for student affairs Dr. Dee Dee Anderson lauded the nominees for their outstanding efforts and expressed her amazement at the level of engagement exhibited by Huskers on campus. She emphasized the importance of their work in shaping the campus community and highlighted the vibrant spirit and commitment to excellence that defines the institution.
