Texas Canyons Canoeing
March 10-20, 2022
If you seek a real adventure, the remote river canyons of southwest Texas are for you. Participants will cover 83 miles in the tight canyons forged by the iconic Rio Grande River and explore side canyons or remains of abandoned villages.
The trip group will spend multiple days on the river with no resupplies or stops at restaurants. Given the remoteness and challenging rapids of this adventure, participants must be in good physical condition and have a positive state of mind.
Cost is $495 for UNL students ($165 deposit required to secure a spot.)
