UNL for UKRAINE fundraiser
April 27 | 4:30 to 6 p.m. | Yia Yia's Pizza (1423 O Street)
Learn about Ukraine and refugees in Lincoln while enjoying fellowship and pizza at this one-night event to benefit the Rotary Disaster Response Fund to support families in Ukraine.

Lunch & Learn Special Edition: Micro-Internships
April 28 | 12. to 1 p.m. | Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Ubuntu Room
Career Services and OASIS are introducing students to the idea of "micro-internships" and how these experiences relate to a field of study. In only one hour, enjoy a lunch and some learning. RSVP is encouraged.

Lavender Graduation
April 28 | 5 to 7 p.m. | Wick Alumni Center
Hosted by the LGBTQA+ Center, this evening ceremony will celebrate upcoming graduates and advocates and recognize the recipients of scholarships and the presentation of the Chancellor's Outstanding Contributions to GLBT Community Awards.
A coffee and dessert social will follow the ceremony from 7 to 8 p.m., by the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Gender and Sexual Identities. The social is a perfect opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to foster meaningful connections with other members of the LGBTQA+ community.

Ohanami Scavenger Hunt

Receive a free lunch when you complete a specially campus-based scavenger hunt to celebrate both Arbor Day in Nebraska and Ohanami in Japan.

Sign-up deadline for Sand Volleyball Tournament and Golf Tournament
April 28 | 5 p.m. | Campus Rec Center or Rec & Wellness Center
Thursday, April 28 is the last day to register a team with your friends and classmates in these two upcoming intramural activities.
Sand Volleyball Tournament will be played May 8 at Abel-Sandoz volleyball courts. Leagues will be men's, women's and open. Entry fee is $25 per team.
Golf Tournament is May 1 at Highlands Golf Course. Leagues will be men's, women's and open. Entry fee is $25 per player.

Study at Sheldon
April 27 | 2 to 7 p.m. | Sheldon Museum of Art
The museum's Great Hall will be transformed into a Great Study Hall for an afternoon and evening. When you’re ready to take a break from your books, explore the galleries for inspiration and fuel up with coffee from The Coffee House and snacks.
Consultants from the University of Nebraska’s Writing Center will be on hand from 2 to 6 p.m. to work with writers of all levels, from all disciplines, and all stages of the creative process.

Pop Culture Trivia
April 27 | 7 to 8 p.m. | Nebraska Union Ballroom
A campus activity for Sex Assault Awareness Month. Students will play the classic game of trivia by looking at examples from tv, movies, music and news stories that relate to sexual violence in media. Prizes will be awarded and snacks & drinks provided.
It’s also Denim Day. Wear clothing made with denim and grab a photo in the Denim Day photo booth.

Weave Tempestries!
May 2 | 3 to 5 p.m. | Love Library, Adele Coryell Hall Learning Commons
Be part of fascinating, hands-on activity to relieve a little stress at this point in the semester. Drop in any time during the two-hour period to help a collective group to weave yarn into Tempestries, a visualization of climate data representing the daily high temperature for a given time period with data from the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). All supplies will be provided. Discover more about the Tempestry Project.
This event is held in conjunction with the “Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes” traveling exhibit.
