Friday, May 1, 2020 Huskers come together for a night of music, karaoke
More than fifty viewers around the world tuned in virtually on April 25 to enjoy the amazing singing and music talents of UNL’s international students during a karaoke and dance party organized by the International Student and Scholar Office (ISSO), Student Involvement and the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources' Office of Global Engagement. The show was recorded and availablefor viewing here.
The 1.5 hour party featured fifteen acts - performed live or on pre-recorded video - by Huskers located in Colombia, India, China, Rwanda, and the United States. The entire event was emceed by D-Wayne.
“Viewers should watch and enjoy all of the performances. We have really talented Huskers around the globe. In addition, the show is interspersed with shout-outs and special highlights that students sent to their friends between each act,” says Rachel Ayalon, ISSO international student success navigator.
Ayalon adds that another karaoke night is in the works for late July 2020 to further connect both currently enrolled Huskers and prospective students.
