COVID-19 Safety: For in-person events, students should be prepared to show their “Access Granted” status in the Safer Community app as part of the check-in process. Each person must wear a face covering and appropriate physical distancing is required throughout the event. Hand sanitizer is available. You should not attend an in-person event if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

Addiction Recovery Meeting

The college environment can present additional challenges to students in recovery or seeking recovery from addiction. This workshop will offer a caring, supportive environment that fosters individual well-being, academic success, and character growth to transform students in recovery into leaders in the community. If you’re a Husker in or seeking recovery from alcohol and drug addiction, you are encouraged to connect.


Period Health 101

April 6  |  7 to 7:30 p.m.  |  Zoom

Your period says a lot about your overall health. Join this 30-minute interactive Zoom webinar to learn what’s normal and what’s not. The webinar will begin with a brief presentation from a University Health Center medical professional followed by a Q&A where you can get your questions answered anonymously. Pre-registration is required.


Bike Maintenance Clinic

April 7  |  5 to 6:30 p.m.  |  Outdoor Adventures Center

Avoid getting stuck on the trail or road due to minor mechanical issue. Sign up for this class and practice basic maintenance items you can do on your own bike to get home or keep riding. A new topic will be presented each week. Topics include patching a flat, basic brake and derailleur adjustments, riding position/bike fit, and layering for winter commuting enjoyment.

Bring a friend and your passion for ending rape on college campuses. Together participants will commemorate the 20th annual Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The event will include reflections on the impact of sexual violence, a show of solidarity for those impacted and sharing our hopes for a future free of sexual violence. Arrive early at 6:30 p.m. to decorate a bag, with messages of hope and support for survivors, to be used for the luminaria at the conclusion of the event.


That's What You Missed at the Women's Center

Tune in for episode five of the new Women's Center podcast. This episode will be focused on DACA/Dreamers in Nebraska. "That's What You Missed at the Women's Center" is a bi-weekly conversation discussing areas of advocacy within the UNL community, moderated and produced by Husker students at the Women’s Center. In this episode, the hosts Syrah and Lizzie will discuss how the university should support DACA/ Dreamer students, and how first-year student programming can be inclusive and intersectional in providing for DACA/Dreamer students. Catch a baseball game for free and enjoy the spring weather. Cheer on the Husker baseball team from the home run terrace. Your NCard must be shown to receive a ticket. Recognized with a Guggenheim Fellowship, Ellsworth combines movement with science, architecture, and humanities for a mind-blowing multimedia presentation. Evening Paddle

April 12  |  5 to 7:30 p.m.  |  Outdoor Adventures Center

Join Outdoor Adventures for an evening jaunt to the edge of town to explore local lakes by kayak or SUP (stand up paddleboard). Enjoy the evening and shake up your typical routine. See what Lincoln has to offer, meet some good people, and learn a few paddling skills along the way. Holmes Lake is the center of outdoor activity in the heart of Lincoln, with a lake for boating and trails to walking or biking.
