Tuesday, April 4, 2023 Greek organizations put on Backpack in Black philanthropy event

[Daily Nebraskan] Four Interfraternity Council (IFC) fraternities came together to host Backpack in Black, a charity concert, at the Royal Grove. The event was put on by fraternities Beta Theta Pi, Phi Delta Theta, Sigma Phi Epsilon and Pi Kappa Alpha.

Monday, April 3, 2023 Students shave their hair for childhood cancer, raise over $9,000

[Daily Nebraskan] St. Baldrick’s Shave for the Brave event raised $9,190 for childhood cancer and had 14 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students shave their hair to spread awareness for childhood cancer.

Monday, April 3, 2023 How UNL Unified is creating inclusive and competitive spaces

[Daily Nebraskan] The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Unified Special Olympics Club is a registered student organization that holds practices for different sports including flag football, soccer and basketball and holds social gatherings to bring together people of varying intellectual and physical abilities.

Sunday, April 2, 2023 Photos | UNL Holi Festival

[Daily Nebraskan] The Indian Students Association and RHA hosted the Holi festival on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Students and participants celebrated by eating traditional Indian cuisine, henna drawing, listening to music, and color throwing at the Cather green space. The celebration focused on the start of spring and participants throw color on each other to celebrate the holiday.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln was named a 2023-24 Voter Friendly Campus, one of 258 campuses in 38 states and the District of Columbia by Fair Elections Center's, Campus Vote Project and , NASPA — Student Affairs Administrators.

Friday, February 17, 2023 Glow Big Red pivots to Snow Big Red, sets records

As 11 inches of snow piled up in Lincoln on Feb. 16, so did donations to Glow Big Red, setting records for the annual giving event for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In all, the campaign collected 5,185 gifts totaling $653,246.

[Daily Nebraskan] This new photography exhibit reveals what life was like for the African Americans who settled in DeWitty, Nebraska. What makes Descendants of DeWitty even more special is the fact that the curator, Artes Johnson, is a direct descendant of these settlers.

[Daily Nebraskan] When looking at the URL for the Games Guild on NvolveU, one might notice that the club is incorrectly referred to as the War Gamers Club. However, this old name fails to encapsulate the scope of what the club aims to accomplish. The Games Guild is focused on bringing students together to play a mix of board, card, roleplaying and war games.
