Friday, February 19, 2021 Nominations open for Student Impact Awards

Student Impact Awards are awarded annually to celebrate the outstanding contributions to the campus community by the more than 550 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) and their leaders. Awards are presented in a variety of categories and any UNL community member, RSO member or advisor may nominate an individual or group for the awards. Nominations are due by 11:30 p.m. March 21, 2021.

This year, awards will be presented for:

Love Library is illuminated during the 2019 Glow Big Red event. Buildings were not lit up this year to conserve electricity amid the rolling blackouts in the central U.S.

Thursday, February 18, 2021 Husker faithful score Glow Big Red record

In a 24-hour period Feb. 17-18, the 2021 Glow Big Red crowdfunding event set a new record by generating nearly 4,000 gifts totaling about $436,000 in support of University of Nebraska–Lincoln scholarships and programs.

Friday, February 12, 2021 ASUN and BSU organize a Night of Listening

All students are encouraged to participate from 7 to 8:30 p.m. February 16. The event will feature Black public officials discussing their fields with a focus on race and inequality in policy and administration.

Student Involvement is headquartered in Room 200 of the Nebraska Union.

For a couple hours, the students casually scrolled and virtually strolled the annual SpringFest Club Fair, hosted by Student Involvement.

Monday, February 8, 2021 COVID-19 regulations allow student organizations to share in-person connections

With the recent COVID-19 regulations, Recognized Student Organizations like Dance Marathon will be expected to check in-person event attendees for building access on their Safer Community App. With utilization of the recent regulations, students will be able to continue connecting in-person safely.
