Huskers are forming new organizations and clubs all the time...not just at the start of fall semester. During the spring term, 10 new Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) officially joined the more than 500 existing clubs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. (from the Daily Nebraskan) This weekend, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Dance Marathon will be holding its biggest fundraiser of the year, HuskerThon. Despite the many challenges of the past year, the event is still able to happen with a few COVID-friendly adjustments.

The recognized student organization Public Relations Student Society of America hosted an event for UNL students at the Nebraska Union's Plaza titled the Civility Effect Experience. The purpose of the event was to teach students more about civility, allow students to share their own experiences with civility and stage a demonstration illustrating the impact civility can have.

Friday, February 19, 2021 Nominations open for Student Impact Awards

Student Impact Awards are awarded annually to celebrate the outstanding contributions to the campus community by the more than 550 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) and their leaders. Awards are presented in a variety of categories and any UNL community member, RSO member or advisor may nominate an individual or group for the awards. Nominations are due by 11:30 p.m. March 21, 2021.

This year, awards will be presented for:
