Campus Recreation will host a Silent Disco on Jan. 25. The event is free for all students (with valid NCard).

Campus Recreation is hosting a Silent Disco from 7 to 10 p.m. Jan 25 at the Campus Rec Center on City Campus. More than 1,000 students are expected to join the party and participate.

Along with a silent disco, the event will include GLO rock climbing, with the help of Outdoor Adventures staff, and GLO dodgeball.

For the silent disco, students will be given a set of glowing headphones and be able to pick one of the DJ’s channels. The headphones allow participants to dance with friends while listening to their favorite style of music.

The event, which is free with a valid NCard, will include glow sticks, Pepsi drinks and popcorn. Participants can also interact with vendors, which include Pepsi, Raising Cane’s, and KFRX. University of Nebraska–Lincoln information booths will include Education Abroad, Intramural Sports, Massage Therapy, Husker Tech, Campus Recreation Advisory Council, University of Nebraska Federal Credit Union and Family Health Services.
