COVID-19 Safety: For in-person events, students should be prepared to show their “Access Granted” status in the Safer Community app as part of the check-in process. Each person must wear a face covering and appropriate physical distancing is required throughout the event. Hand sanitizer is available. You should not attend an in-person event if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.

Free Coffee from the Chancellor
Daily May 3–7 | 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. | Nebraska Union and Nebraska East Union
Pick up a free Starbucks drip coffee during final exams week, courtesy of Chancellor Ronnie Green. Students can pick up the coffee from the Welcome Desk in the Nebraska Union and at the Starbucks inside the Nebraska East Union.
One-Dose COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
May 3 | starting at 9 a.m. | Hawks Championship Center
The university is hosting a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine clinic, utilizing the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The clinic is open to all UNL students, faculty and staff who have not yet been vaccinated. Use this link to pre-register (select "Janssen" under Preferred Vaccine) with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and select an appointment time.
Big Red Singers Performance
May 2 | 7:30 to 8 p.m. | Virtual
Catch an end-of-semester concert featuring the Big Red Singers ensemble. The group will perform five pieces, all arranged by students.
Sunrise & Spin
May 3 | 6 to 7 a.m. | Recreation & Wellness Center Rooftop and MAC Gym
Enjoy the early morning sun and fresh air during this outdoor cycling class taught on the RWC Rooftop. Classes are free for all UNL students during finals week. Pre-register to attend.
Sun Salutations in the Sand
May 5 | 5 to 6 p.m. | Recreation & Wellness Center Sand Volleyball Courts
This special class is part of Campus Recreation's free week of fitness classes. Any UNL student can attend any class for no charge during finals week. Join in on the class as an instructor brings you through a sun salutation-focused yoga flow. Pre-register to attend.

Sam Stacy
May 9 | 7 p.m. | Lied Center for Performing Arts
Sam is a Lincoln native who recently received national attention after winning a spot on NBC’s "The Voice". After graduating from Lincoln Southeast High School and starting college, he’d study by day and gig by night, taking a job at a bank after graduating to keep his evenings free for performing. Once he started making more money from music than at the bank, he quit his day job and never looked back. Stacy now lives in Los Angeles and is a full-time musician. This concert has virtual and in-person options. It is FREE to attend, but you need to reserve a ticket.
Look at Lunchtime

Erin Hanas, curator of academic engagement, will discuss the sculpture “A Handful of Stars” by Betye Saar in a Zoom edition of Sheldon Museum of Art’s Look at Lunchtime series. Saar’s sculpture is currently on view in the exhibition “Person of Interest.”
